The pristine Noosa River has changed little since the 1924 image on the left, but thankfully the ferry service has. A four wheel drive vehicle is not necessary to access Noosa North Shore and Rosehill Cottage.
Access To Paradise: The ferry runs from 5.30am each morning. It stops operating at 10.30pm Sunday to Thursday nights; Friday and Saturday nights it's half past midnight. They also have half past midnight closure on some public holidays. The cost is $6.00 each way for a standard vehicle or FWD. Enjoy the ride as you glide across the river.
Air: Sunshine Coast Airport at Maroochydore is located approximately 42km south of Rosehill Cottage. It has direct flights to and from most Australian capital cities. Brisbane Airport is the domestic and international gateway to Queensland with over 200 flights daily. Direct air connections from Brisbane Airport are also available to the Sunshine Coast Airport.
Transfers are available from the Airport to our door. For the ultimate in luxury, you can arrange for a chauffeur-driven Luxury Sedan or Stretch- Limousine from either Sunshine Coast or Brisbane Airport. Alternatively, Suncoast Taxi’s are available from the Taxi Rank outside the terminal. A selection of reputable car hire companies have representation at the Airport should you wish to self-drive to Rosehill Cottage.
Driving: Noosa North Shore is a leisurely 2 hour drive North of Brisbane. The most direct access is via the Bruce Highway. Proceed North on the highway to the small country township of Cooroy, then turn at the Noosa Heads sign into Noosa Tewantin Road. As you approach the centre of Tewantin, turn left at the Shell Service Station roundabout into Moorindil Street which will lead you to the ferry.

Rosehill Cottage: Once across the river, take the first driveway on the left after the "60k" speed sign. You will see "#27" on the fence. Yes, very low key identification indeed. But Rosehill is not about flashing signs or billboards. Just think of discovering Rosehill Cottage as the beginning of your adventure.
